Stone masonry experts. That’s the short version. We do fire pits, fireplaces, stone walls, custom fountains, creek beds, ponds, outdoor kitchens, and stone patios — all built by hand with natural stone. We’ve been at it for 35 years in the Atlanta area, which means we know Georgia’s red clay, the freeze-thaw cycles, the drainage problems on sloped lots, and what materials actually hold up here long-term. Every service listed below is available across the metro — Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Johns Creek, and beyond.

More about our work
Master masonry and hardscaping
John picks the stone at the yard with you. The crew lays every piece by hand on-site, setting it for proper drainage, level, and long-term stability. We’ve built 70-foot barefoot-friendly sidewalks, 3-foot solid stone steps set into hillsides, and terraced retaining walls holding back decades of erosion on steep Buckhead lots. Our 80-foot stone wall system in West Cobb is a good example of what large-scale hardscaping looks like when it’s done right.
The difference between hand-laid stone and contractor-grade paver work is obvious the day it’s installed. It’s even more obvious five years later.
Outdoor kitchens and pavilions
We work with master carpenters to build outdoor kitchens and covered pavilion structures. The carpentry crew handles framing; we handle the stone — countertops, bar fronts, pizza oven enclosures, fire pit surrounds, and all the finish work.
A typical outdoor kitchen includes a built-in grill, stone counters, and integrated seating. The higher-end builds add commercial pizza ovens, wet bars, and full pavilion roofing. Our West Cobb project had all of that — $85,000 total, including an $8,500 commercial pizza oven, stone bar seating, a fire pit, and a hand-laid patio. The crew finished it in one month.
Atlanta’s climate makes these spaces usable about nine months of the year. With a covered pavilion, closer to twelve.
Ponds and waterscape engineering
This is our namesake. We build ponds, waterfalls, streams, and fountain systems that run as self-sustaining ecosystems. That means proper filtration, pump sizing, biological balance from aquatic plantings, and natural stone edges — not a fiberglass shell with a recirculating pump.
Our systems use professional-grade equipment rated up to 15,000 GPH. We’ve built everything from small courtyard fountains to multi-level waterfall systems. One of our more unusual builds was a waterfall designed as a noise curtain — the homeowner lived near a busy road and wanted the sound of water instead of traffic. It worked.
The goal with every water feature is the same: it should look like it’s been on your property for decades, not like it was installed last Tuesday.
Specialty structures
We build custom stone structures for problems that don’t have a standard solution. Our most popular is the Amazon Vault — a stone mailbox with a heavy-duty rear door built to bank-vault specs. It stops package theft and keeps deliveries dry through Georgia summers. We designed it after a client in Tucker had packages stolen from his porch repeatedly.
We also do stone fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, entry columns, garden walls, and architectural features. If you can draw it on a napkin or show us a picture, we can build it in stone.
Interior stonework
We install stone flooring indoors — natural slate, travertine, flagstone. Same hand-laid precision as our exterior work. This is popular in Atlanta homes with open layouts where the kitchen flows out to a patio. Using the same stone material inside and out makes the whole space feel connected rather than chopped up at the door frame.
Landscaping and softscaping
Stone looks best with the right plants around it. We handle planting, bed design, ground cover, mulching, and seasonal color to finish out every hardscape project.
Our 1800 Plant Walkway is a good example — we sourced Dwarf Mondo Grass from three nurseries to line both sides of a stone path. Mass planting like that creates a clean, manicured border that makes the stonework stand out.
