A fire pit or fireplace changes how you use your backyard. It’s the difference between a patio you abandon in October and one you’re sitting around in January.

We build custom stone fire pits and outdoor fireplaces by hand using natural stone. No gas-insert prefab units. No manufactured veneer bolted to a metal frame. Real stone, hand-laid on-site, matched to whatever hardscaping you already have.

What we build

Fire pits — Round, square, or custom shapes in flagstone, fieldstone, or cut stone. Most include a stone cap wide enough to sit on and a drainage system underneath so you don’t have a puddle after every rainstorm. Wood-burning or gas-fed — depends on your preference and your HOA.

Outdoor fireplaces — Full-height stone fireplaces, either freestanding or built into an existing wall, patio cover, or outdoor kitchen. We built one in Sandy Springs — floor-to-ceiling, matched to a kitchen remodel so the addition doesn’t look like it was tacked on later. See the Sandy Springs Fireplace project.

Fire walls and fire tables — Linear fire features set into stone walls or tabletops. Good for smaller patios where a full fire pit would eat up too much space.

How we build them

John picks the stone with you at the yard. You choose the color, texture, and cut. The crew pours a reinforced foundation, sets the stone by hand, and installs the firebox, gas lines if needed, and chimney or vent. We do the full build ourselves — no subcontractors for the stone or fire components.

Atlanta’s mild enough that an outdoor fireplace gets used eight or nine months a year. That’s more than most indoor fireplaces in this city.

Where we’ve built them

Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Roswell, Dunwoody, Johns Creek. The terrain and lot sizes vary, and we size each fire feature to fit the space — not the other way around.
